How is this the safest way to do home improvements?
Many people don’t know until they experience it that it is not easy and sometimes impossible to recover deposit money, or other payments from Contractors if they are dishonest and won’t finish the job or won’t even start it. We have experienced first hand the faults in the industry from both sides.
This is the reason we created ContractorsNest. We keep your money safe for both parties while the contractor start the work, and you only release it once the agreed job is done and it is to your satisfaction. This way we eliminate a big portion of Contractor scams that are out there.

How much this service will cost to me?
This service is FREE for customers.
There are paid options like featured project listing, or some payment options have a fee but there is completely Free options as well for your convenience.

Will you sell my personal details to anyone?
Absolutely not!
Unlike other home improvement referral companies, we will never give out your personal information to the contractors. They will only see some details on your projects, and can message you for more information. You can give your information to whomever you feel comfortable with after they have made contact with you.
For Contractors
How is this safe for me if I don't get a deposit?
We understand that this new way of doing business can be daunting. You might have experienced bad customers before who didn’t want to pay for your services.
Since we experienced the industry from both the customer side and contractor side, we created this service, so both parties are safe. Once the project is awarded to you, we secure the payment from the customer for part or the full project, that is up to you and the customer decide how the payments will be broken up. Once you are done with that particular part of the project the customer can approve it and you get paid.
What if the customer refuse to release the money?
Once you are done that agreed upon work, the customer has the ability to release the money to you, ask for corrections, or they can raise a dispute.
If they refuse the payment release, they will have to prove to us, or in court that you have not done the agreed upon work, or did it in a faulty manner. This way you are protected as well from fraudulent customers
How much do you charge per lead, or what are your fees?
We do not charge per lead, it is completely free for you to start using our website.
You can search for projects, message customers, place bids, and start contracts for absolutely no cost to you. There is no out of pocket, or upfront fees that you have to pay. We only take our fee of 10% once the customer releases the payment to you.
How fast can I get my money once the customer releases the payment?
You can ask for a withdrawal as soon as the money is released to you.
We transfer your withdrawal to you via direct deposit that you need to set up and verify before you can ask for your first withdrawal. once the verification process is done direct deposit can be as early as the same day, or within 2 business day depending on your bank , and what time of day you asked for a withdrawal.
